Police prevented activation of explosive device in Zagreb's Utrina
On Friday afternoon, Zagreb police arrested a man who threatened to detonate an explosive device in Šišićeva Street, in the city district of Utrina. The information was confirmed by the Zagreb Police Directorate.
Officers received a report at 16:10 of a person with an explosive device in the aforementioned street. Police units were immediately dispatched to the scene, including specialists.
According to unofficial reports, officers approached a man who was moving along the street. At that moment, he drew out the device and threatened to activate it. Due to the intervention of law enforcement, an extended security perimeter was established, and traffic on Šišićeva Street was temporarily halted.
