Search for man suspected of shooting in Čakovec
On Saturday, 4 July, shortly before 4 a.m., a violent incident occurred in the car park of a hospitality establishment in central Čakovec. Two people suffered serious injuries, and police are conducting a search for the perpetrator.
The Međimurje Police Administration, in coordination with the competent state prosecutor's office in Varaždin, is taking all necessary measures to find and arrest the suspect. The state prosecutor's office regularly issues orders for the conduct of investigative actions, thereby ensuring effective investigation.
Officers have released a photograph of the man being sought. Members of the public who have any information that could assist in locating the wanted person, or who recognise him in the photograph, are urged to immediately contact the nearest police station or call 192. It is strongly advised that the suspect should not be approached or communicated with for security reasons, but that the police should be informed immediately instead.
