On Sunday in the early morning, at around 4.20 a.m., multiple gunshots rang out in the centre of Sveta Nedelja. A man fired shots at a hospitality establishment, damaging it in the process, according to reports by Večernji list citing information from Radio Sveta Nedelja.
Police conducted an inspection of the scene during the morning hours. Official information regarding the circumstances of the incident, as well as confirmation of any possible injuries, was not available at the time of publication.
Following the incident, Sparrow's bar, whose establishment was damaged, made a statement on Facebook. In their post, they described an unusual sequence of events — according to their account, the man called the police himself and reported himself.
"Dear friends... Unfortunately, we were the last stop on the tour of our dear fellow resident, which he began from his own home. After the devastation of our establishment, he called the police himself and reported himself. In this way, we forgive him everything and we are glad that it all ended the way it did," said those from Sparrow's bar.
