Mechanic injured in Pula, police search for attacker
Following the wounding of a 60-year-old man in Valdebek in Pula, police are intensively searching for Srđan Aleksić (41) from the Pula area. He is considered dangerous and likely armed.

Thursday afternoon brought a violent incident in the Pula district of Valdebek, where an unknown attacker shot a man in his sixties. According to 24sata, the victim works as a mechanic and sustained an injury to the buttock. After emergency services intervened, he was admitted to the ward at Pula hospital.
The Istrian Police Administration has released the identity of the wanted man: Srđan Aleksić, a 41-year-old from the Pula area. Officials assess him as a person at risk with probable access to firearms.
The public has been asked that, should they notice Aleksić, they should not approach him but immediately report to police. Contact is possible via the number 192, email [email protected] or by visiting the nearest police station.
The search is ongoing.
