Slovenian held at Zaton Doli border crossing with crystal methamphetamine and 83 ecstasy tablets
The Dubrovnik-Neretva police has arrested a 49-year-old Slovenian national at the Zaton Doli border crossing with multiple types of drugs. The investigation established that the drugs were intended for further distribution.

The Dubrovnik-Neretva police arrested a 49-year-old Slovenian national after drugs of multiple types were found in his possession on Friday, 21 August in the morning at the Zaton Doli border crossing, reports Index.hr.
The Slovenian arrived at the inbound border control in a private motor vehicle with German registration plates. Police officers from Ston Police Station and customs officers, during a vehicle inspection, discovered a small quantity of marijuana, a plastic bag containing 9.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 83 MDMA tablets, commonly known as ecstasy.
The seized drugs were, according to police claims, intended for further distribution, which was established as part of the criminal investigation that followed the arrest.
On suspicion of committing the criminal offence of unauthorised manufacture and trafficking of drugs, the 49-year-old was, along with a criminal report, handed over to the detention unit of the Dubrovnik-Neretva police headquarters. An investigating judge subsequently ordered him held in investigative custody.
