Police in Velika Gorica are investigating an incident that occurred on Monday evening in the settlement of Lazina Čička. At approximately 20:10, gunfire was reported from one car at another.
At the scene, it was established that a twenty-seven-year-old man, from a vehicle moving along the road, fired projectiles at another car. In that vehicle was a family, being driven by a twenty-nine-year-old. Miraculously, no one was injured.
Police have opened an investigation and classified the case as endangering life and property in general. The motive for this violent act is currently unknown.
Officers know who the perpetrators of the incident are, but have not yet announced that anyone has been apprehended.
Criminal investigation is ongoing, police announced.
