Police found two pistols, three rifles, six hand grenades and 811 ammunition rounds at a 53-year-old's property in the Đakovo area.

Acting on a court order, police officers conducted a search of the property of a 53-year-old resident of Đakovo on 7 July. The operation included his house, additional premises he uses and his personal vehicle.
During the search, a large unauthorised arsenal was discovered. Officers seized two short-barrelled firearms, three firearms for hunting, six throwing explosive devices and 811 projectiles of various calibres, according to 24sata.
In addition, investigators temporarily seized weapons that the man held with a permit. These consist of two hunting rifles, one pistol with two magazines and all corresponding permits for possession and carrying. This material will be handed over to the competent station so that administrative proceedings can be initiated for permanent confiscation.
Charges will be filed against the suspect with the Municipal State Attorney's Office in Osijek on suspicion of unlawful possession, production and acquisition of weapons and explosive materials.
