Zagreb police found more than four kilograms of cannabis, three kilograms of cocaine, a firearm and ammunition in a flat in the New Zagreb area and filed criminal charges against four men.

Zagreb police carried out a search of a flat in the New Zagreb area on Wednesday and found substantial quantities of narcotics, a firearm and ammunition. Criminal charges were filed against four suspects.
According to official data, a 23-year-old and a 29-year-old allegedly obtained large quantities of cocaine, marijuana and hashish for the purposes of further sale. They kept the goods in a flat they used, weighed it and repackaged it before distributing it on the black market.
During the search, police seized 42 packets of marijuana with a total weight of 4.17 kilograms, seven packets of cocaine weighing 3.03 kilograms and two packets of hashish weighing 560 grams. In addition, two digital scales bearing traces of drugs were found.
An automatic pistol of the Red Star brand with two magazines and 20 rounds of 7.65 millimetre ammunition were also discovered in the flat. It was separately established that the 29-year-old sold 1.14 kilograms of cocaine to two twenty-year-olds on the same morning in New Zagreb. Cash suspected to be proceeds from drug dealing was found in their car.
All four suspects were remanded into custody supervision after criminal investigation was completed.
