Zagreb man arrested: ordered 100 kg of amphetamine precursor from China
Zagreb police have arrested a 32-year-old man who ordered more than 100 kg of substance for the production of amphetamine and methamphetamine from China. He collected the packages at a post office in Dubrava.

Zagreb police have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of ordering 100.21 kilograms of BMK precursor from China intended for the production of amphetamine and methamphetamine, Index.hr reported.
The criminal investigation was conducted by police officers from the Zagreb Police Administration in coordination with the Drug Crime Service of the Police Directorate, with the participation of the Customs Administration and Croatian Post.
According to police statements, the suspect ordered the shipment through an internet website. The sender distributed the goods into five packages, which the 32-year-old collected on Tuesday, 1 September in the afternoon from a post office branch in the Dubrava area — where police officers arrested him.
During the investigation, police also seized a transparent bag containing approximately 3.8 grams of plant material which police state has the appearance and smell characteristic of marijuana.
Upon completion of the criminal investigation, the suspect was handed over to a detention supervisor. A criminal report was filed with the Municipal Criminal State Prosecutor's Office in Zagreb on suspicion of unauthorised drug production and trafficking.
For possession of 3.8 grams of marijuana, police also filed a misdemeanour charge proposal with the competent court under the Law on Suppression of Drug Abuse.
