Homicide in Zadar's Stanovi district
According to a statement from Zadar police, the young man came to a flat in the Zadar settlement of Stanovi on 5 October at 13:50, where his grandmother lived. After entering the flat, he killed her with a sharp object — most likely a knife.

The motive for the homicide is not yet known, nor is it known whether police had previously intervened in the family.
