In Dubrava, a 40-year-old allegedly deliberately struck a 56-year-old man with a car, briefly carried him on the bonnet, and then braked suddenly, causing the victim to land on the street.

A serious incident occurred during the night from Sunday to Monday, 12 July, on Varoška Street in the Zagreb neighbourhood of Dubrava. According to a report from Zagreb police, a forty-year-old man in a personal vehicle with city registration allegedly deliberately struck a fifty-six-year-old man. Following the impact, the victim was briefly carried on the front of the vehicle, and then the driver braked sharply, causing the pedestrian to fall onto the road.

The injured man was urgently transported to Dubrava Clinical Hospital, where significant physical injuries were confirmed. Officers arrested the suspect shortly afterwards and brought him to the station. An investigation is underway against him for a possible criminal offence of endangering life and property by a dangerous act or object.
