Zagreb man, 37, arrested with over 300 grammes of cannabis on Trešnjevka
Police conducted a house search in the Zagreb area of Trešnjevka on Wednesday. They found four packages of plant material totalling 300.5 grammes, an electronic scale, and wrapping equipment.

On Wednesday, 15 July 2026, in the afternoon, members of Zagreb police conducted a search of a residential property on Trešnjevka. During the search they seized four packages containing plant material considered to be prohibited drugs. The total quantity amounted to 300.5 grammes.
In addition, an electronic device for measuring weight and additional equipment for unpacking and wrapping were found in the premises. According to investigators, the 37-year-old resident of the house had acquired significant quantities of cannabis with the intention of further distribution. He allegedly stored, weighed, and repackaged the drugs in the same property before placing them on the black market.
After completing the forensic processing of the case, police officers filed a report against the suspect with the Municipal Criminal State Prosecutor's Office in Zagreb. In the meantime, he was apprehended and handed over to the detention officer.
