Police seize nomination papers in Vas District 2 – three candidates affected
The Vas County Police Headquarters has launched criminal proceedings on suspicion of electoral fraud in Vas electoral district 2. Nomination papers of three candidates were seized from the electoral office safe.

According to Google News HU — Crime (hu), police seized the nomination papers of independent candidate Magyar Péter, DK candidate Deák Gábor, and Salis Julien Priscilla (NÉP), who is not even registered, from the electoral office safe. The fact was confirmed by Valéria Szijártó, mayor of Sárvár and head of the local electoral office, in response to an inquiry from ugytudjuk.hu.
The police launched the investigation based on a complaint received by the prosecutor's office against unknown perpetrators. In response to an inquiry from Telex, the Vas County Police Headquarters stated that criminal proceedings had been initiated "on suspicion of a crime against the order of elections, referendums, popular initiatives and the European Citizens' Initiative". Citing the interests of the investigation, they did not disclose further details.
In Vas electoral district 2, several candidates are competing: Tisza is running Strompová Viktória, the Fidesz candidate is Ágh Péter, a serving member of parliament, Mi Hazánk is running Dala Ferenc, and besides them, Magyar Péter and Deák Gábor are also vying for votes.
