Budapest drug dealer arrested with five kilogrammes of narcotics found
Police apprehended a man on 29 June who was found to be carrying more than five kilogrammes of various narcotics in total. The confiscated substances have an estimated value of approximately thirty million forints.

Staff from the Pécs branch of the Office for Combating Drug Crime conducted an investigation into a Budapest man accused of trafficking in prohibited substances. The suspect was apprehended by investigators on the last day of June.
During a search of the man's clothing, investigators found three packages of white substance resembling cocaine. Further illegal drugs were discovered at his home and in a storage facility: in total, more than five kilogrammes of amphetamine, four hundred and six grammes of cocaine – part of which had already been divided into individual doses – and seven and a half grammes of crystalline MDMA were confiscated.
The authorities also seized seven hundred and seven thousand forints in cash and a motor vehicle from him, and furthermore froze one of his bank accounts. The black market value of the confiscated prohibited substances totals approximately thirty million forints.
Police also checked five additional people from among the dealer's customers. Three of them were questioned as suspects. One of them was found to be carrying one hundred and eighty-one grammes of cannabis, and two others tested positive on drug tests.
The Budapest man was charged with trafficking in prohibited substances and subsequently remanded in custody.
