A 43-year-old man's vehicle was inspected by uniformed officers from Zirc in a village in the Bakony region. A drug-like powder was found in the car.

On the evening of 10 July, a 43-year-old man from Veszprém was checked by police from Zirc in a small settlement in the Bakony region – according to a report on Police.hu.
Because of the driver's nervous behaviour, officers asked him to leave the vehicle. During the search, a drug-like substance was found in a bag in the boot.
The man was questioned, and a quick test carried out on him came back positive. A criminal investigation was opened against him for possession of a prohibited substance and driving under the influence.
Veszprém county police warn that those driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs pose a serious danger to everyone on the roads.
