County police found prohibited substances in several locations in recent days – according to a report on Police.hu.
In Rétság, a juvenile girl was questioned after she admitted to having used drugs previously. At a filling station in Salgótarján, a man in his thirties had powder and crystalline substance found in his pocket, and testing showed positive results.
In Mátraverebély, officers stopped a vehicle with no registration number. In the vehicle, they seized powder wrapped in aluminium foil, a cylindrical container hidden under a seat, and a container placed in a passenger's bra. According to expert examination, all were prohibited substances. Officers found more than twenty grammes of material at the scene and brought three people to the police station.
In Érsekvárkert, two pedestrians were stopped at night. Officers found nearly thirty-five grammes of cannabis in a large bag on one of them. The young people admitted to having consumed some of it.
Investigators questioned seven suspects on suspicion of possessing prohibited substances. Authorities are asking residents to report drug-related offences to the Telefontanú number 06-80-555-111 or the emergency line 112.
