Man from Dunakeszi pointed gun at wife's head in front of young daughter – charges filed
The Dunakeszi District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against a man who regularly assaulted his wife in the presence of their minor child. The charges include aggravated harassment and endangerment of a minor.

The Dunakeszi District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against a local man who regularly assaulted his wife in the presence of their minor child, the Pest County Chief Prosecutor's Office spokesperson László Péter Hajnal told 24.hu.
The man and his wife jointly raised their daughter, who attended the lower form of primary school in Dunakeszi. The defendant regularly consumed alcohol, and whilst under its influence repeatedly provoked arguments. In one such argument, he pointed a gun at his wife's head – the minor child witnessed the scene.
In April 2024, he assaulted the woman in front of the girl, then pulled the woman back as she tried to escape and prevented her from leaving the property. In the following month, during another conflict, the defendant produced a sword with a blade length of 75 centimetres and threatened his wife that he would kill her. The woman managed to escape the house.
According to the prosecutor, the man's conduct severely traumatised the minor child and endangered her moral development. The Dunakeszi District Prosecutor's Office charges the defendant with the offence of aggravated harassment of his wife, the offence of violation of personal freedom, and the offence of endangering a minor.
