A man dragged a woman to the roof of a ten-storey building in Miskolc at dawn, intending to push her into the depths, but the victim managed to escape.

At dawn, an ex-partner attacked a woman in a ten-storey building in Miskolc – as reported by 24.hu.
The man seized the woman in the stairwell, who had ended their relationship a few weeks earlier. From the eighth floor onwards, they were dragged to the roof, where he lifted her over the railing. However, the victim managed to break free from his grip and, with the help of neighbours, returned to her flat.
The couple had previously had a troubled relationship: the man drank regularly and acted violently towards her. After the break-up, he did not leave her alone, continually harassing her. Following the Sunday attack, police took him into custody. They also investigated whether he had behaved similarly towards former partners.
