Man from Szolnok sold crystal meth, police crackdown
On 2 July, police in Szolnok arrested a thirty-nine-year-old man suspected of selling crystal meth in the city. The operation was supported by the Tisza MEKTO tactical unit.
Over the past months, several cases have been opened at Szolnok Police Headquarters for drug possession and distribution. The accumulated evidence pointed to a local drug dealer who supplied the substance to his own customer base and to dealers under him.
Officers conducted a search of the suspect's home, where they found and seized prohibited substances, digital scales, a large sum of cash, and several mobile phones. The man was interviewed on suspicion of drug trafficking and then placed in detention. The prosecution requested his remand in custody, which was approved by the court.
