Miskolc man coerced children into intimate recordings – police seek further victims
A 35-year-old homeless man from Miskolc targeted mainly children aged 9–12 through social media. The Pest County Police Headquarters is awaiting reports from further victims.
Police seek further victims in case of Miskolc man
According to 444.hu's report, the Pest County Police Headquarters is seeking victims under 18 years of age who were coerced by a 35-year-old man from Miskolc, living a homeless lifestyle, into creating intimate photographs or video recordings on the internet.
According to the police statement, the man contacted children primarily on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok until 7 November 2025 – sometimes using his own name, sometimes using profiles under female names. He appeared primarily in groups frequented by the 9–12 age group, where he first built trust with the victims. He then asked them to photograph their shoes, clothing items and underwear, and subsequently, while wearing these, urged them to perform various sexual acts via online communication.
The victims identified by the authorities filed criminal complaints. The suspect was questioned, taken into custody and subsequently remanded in custody.
Investigators are awaiting reports from further victims on the Telefontanú free-call number 06-80-555-111 or on the 112 emergency line.
