Secretary who lost her hands will not give up: files complaint against termination of investigation

The 29-year-old Prime Minister's Office employee who lost both arms as a result of an explosion near Újdöröğd has filed a motion for review against the decision of the Győr prosecutor's office – according to 24.hu.

The investigative authority previously closed the case. According to the reasoning of the Central Investigation Prosecutor's Office, although the extensive investigation revealed irregularities, these did not show a clear connection between the injuries and the conduct of the suspects. In the proceedings initiated for reckless endangerment, it was not possible to prove criminal liability.

If the complaint is rejected, the decision will be sent for review to the higher-level prosecutor's office within eight days. The Central Investigation Prosecutor's Office will then have thirty days to rule on the appeal.
