Man arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Somogy county
A man in his thirties was taken into custody by Somogy police after investigators found a significant quantity of drug-suspected material in his home. The search was carried out by staff from the Somogy County Police Headquarters on 19 June 2026 in Csurgó.
The investigators seized prohibited substances at several points in the flat. Notably, they also discovered suspicious material in the refrigerator. In addition to the seizure, the suspect was subjected to a drugs test, which detected the presence of three different substances: cocaine, amphetamine and marijuana.
The police initiated proceedings in connection with drug-related criminal offences. The prosecutor requested the man's detention, which was approved by the investigating judge at Kaposvár District Court. The suspect is currently in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
