A thirty-three-year-old man from Heves was taken into custody on charges of robbery by staff at the local police station on 11 July. According to suspicion, on 5 July in the afternoon, he approached a woman riding a bicycle on a street, seized her bag, and ran away.
The stolen items included documents, a small amount of money and a mobile telephone. The investigators quickly determined who had committed the crime and arrested him. The man admitted to his actions and revealed that he had already passed on the telephone.
The authorities are bringing the case to court through expedited proceedings – according to Police.hu.
