More than 4 kg of marijuana and 60,000 euros seized from drug dealer in Dunakeszi
Police in Dunakeszi seized a total of several kilograms of marijuana and significant cash in a drug case against a 41-year-old man. The court ordered the remand of the suspect into custody.

According to police.hu, investigators from Dunakeszi Police Headquarters initiated proceedings ex officio on suspicion of drug trafficking against 41-year-old Dunakeszi resident Cs. Csaba, from whom they had received information that he kept marijuana at his place of residence, consumed it and had been selling it for an extended period.
Police swooped on the man at the end of April, and after his arrest they conducted searches at several properties linked to him. In a flat in a Dunakeszi apartment building, they seized more than 600 grams of suspected narcotic plant material, a small quantity of white powder, digital scales, vacuum bags, and significant cash held in euros, dollars and forints. The 41-year-old man was brought in for sampling, then taken into custody, and the court ordered his remand into custody.
The investigation did not end with the first raid. On 15 May, with the co-operation of the National Tax and Customs Authority and the National Investigation Bureau, investigators found more than 4 kilograms of marijuana at additional locations in Dunakeszi – in a flat and a storage unit. As part of asset recovery, an electric bicycle, a painting, more than 60,000 euros and 33 million forints were also seized.
