More than five kilograms of drugs seized from Budapest dealer
On 29 June, a man was taken into custody in the capital on suspicion of trafficking in prohibited substances. Police officers searched his clothing and found white powder in three bags that resembled cocaine – according to a report by Police.hu, cited by 24.hu.
Authorities also found additional drugs at the man's home. A total of more than five kilograms of prohibited substances came into the hands of investigators, with a street value of approximately 30 million forints.
Police also checked five people among the suspect's clients. Three of them were questioned as suspects. Cannabis weighing 181 grammes was found at one customer's location, and at two others the rapid test also came back positive.
24.hu notes that in June, a record-breaking cocaine shipment worth 15 billion forints was also seized in the country.
