A 52-year-old man living in Budapest attacked a journalist at a political event. The assault took place on 7 September 2025 in the settlement of Kötcse.
The man displayed a provocative, antisocial manner of conduct, and then shoved the reporter, who was performing his work. The police initiated proceedings on grounds of disorderly conduct.
The suspect denied committing the offence, filed a complaint against the suspicion, and made no statement. However, investigators gathered evidence.
The Somogy County Police Headquarters closed the investigation and recommended to the prosecutor's office that charges be pressed.
