Carabinieri arrested a man in Sassari, finding 1.20 grammes of cocaine on him and, at his residence, a further 160 grammes in three packages, along with marijuana, a precision scales and 8,210 euros in cash.

Carabinieri in Sassari arrested a man accused of producing, trafficking and possessing narcotic substances. The operation took place yesterday near the suspect's residence, where officers stopped him and carried out a search.
1.20 grammes of cocaine were found on the man. During a subsequent search of his home, officers discovered a further 160 grammes of the substance, divided into three packages, hidden inside a piece of furniture. An additional 2.54 grammes of marijuana were seized.
In addition to the drugs, the Carabinieri confiscated a precision scales and 8,210 euros in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking. The arrested man was taken to Bancali prison, where he awaits his validation hearing.
