According to reports from ansa.it, carabinieri from Caivano arrested Biagio Fusco, 58 years old, already known to law enforcement, in Cardito, in Naples province. The man is accused of possession of narcotics for trafficking purposes: at the time of arrest he had twenty doses of cocaine on him.
During a search of the residence, the officers found material for packaging drugs, a precision scales, 325 euros in cash believed to be proceeds from the illegal activity, a Gamba calibre 12 shotgun and 16 bullets.
The seized firearm will be subjected to ballistic testing to verify any possible use in acts of violence or other crimes. Fusco is currently in prison awaiting trial.
