Battipaglia: young man of Ukrainian origin arrested with cocaine and crack
The State Police in Battipaglia have arrested a young Italian of Ukrainian origin found in possession of cocaine and crack intended for distribution.

According to questure.poliziadistato.it, in the late afternoon of 2 July, officers of the Judicial Police Squad of the Battipaglia Police Station arrested a young Italian citizen of Ukrainian origin, considered responsible for possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.
During a territorial control operation, the officers noticed the young man moving about with suspicious behaviour. Upon seeing the officers, the man threw a package in an attempt to flee. Stopped promptly, he was subjected to a search and to both personal and home searches.
The judicial police activities made it possible to find and seize eight packages of cocaine, with a total weight of 4.38 grammes, and four packages of crack, totalling 9.82 grammes.
