The mobile unit officers from Desio arrested a thirty-year-old man, originally from Robbiate, during a territorial patrol. In the vehicle's interior, the officers discovered a total quantity of approximately one hundred and fifty grammes of drugs, consisting of hashish and cocaine. Among the seized items was also an instrument for precise weighing.
A woman of the same age was sitting beside the driver. The two were stopped whilst driving in the car. The illicit substance and the weighing equipment were contained in a transparent package.
The thirty-year-old has a criminal record: approximately a decade ago he had been involved in an investigation into a criminal association aimed at trafficking in prohibited substances, also in the Brianza monzese area.
Before the Monza court, judge Valentina Leggio validated the arrest. The man was transferred to a correctional facility, whilst an order was issued for the passenger requiring her not to leave her municipality.
During the guarantee hearing, the arrested man claimed that the goods were intended for a contact in Limbiate.
