Five arrested for drug dealing in the Noce valleys
In the early hours of dawn, the Carabinieri of the Cles company launched an operation against an organisation engaged in drug trafficking in western Trentino. The operation involved Val di Sole, Val di Non and the chief town of Cles. RaiNews reported on the intervention.
The investigation led to the dismantling of an association composed of young dealers who were selling cocaine, marijuana and hashish. The sales system was distinctive: the goods were delivered directly to buyers and payment took place via prepaid cards.
Five restrictive measures were executed, with the application of house arrest. Four of those detained are Italian and reside in Val di Sole; the fifth is a Tunisian citizen domiciled in Gardolo, considered among the main suppliers.
During the checks, law enforcement seized more than one kilogramme of drugs and a sum of cash.
