Five minors under investigation in Arezzo for neo-Nazi online propaganda

Five minors resident in the province of Arezzo have been served with preliminary investigation conclusion notices for propaganda and incitement to commit crimes on grounds of racial, ethnic and religious discrimination. This is reported by Google News IT — Crime (it), citing an investigation by the Arezzo Digos lasting over a year and coordinated by the Juvenile Court of Florence.
Investigative activities began with monitoring of social networks and instant messaging chat groups, where the group shared propagandistic content of a Nazi-fascist nature and discriminatory messages. Among the episodes contested is also the appearance, in the Valdarno area, of graffiti with slogans such as "White power", "Italia agli italiani", "Nuova Italia" and "Antiantifa".
Subsequent checks enabled investigators to reconstruct the structure of the network, the methods of recruitment of members and the channels used to produce and distribute propagandistic material, including stickers and leaflets.
Computer analysis of the devices seized during two series of searches — the first in July 2025, the second in February of the same year — made it possible to define with precision the internal hierarchy of the group and the individual roles of each member.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the Juvenile Court of Florence formalised the charges against the five young people. The enquiries also revealed the existence of direct contacts between the young people from Valdarno and other far-right extremist circles active at national level.
