OnlyFans Creator from Rovigo Reported: €270,000 in Unpaid Taxes and Illegally Claimed Unemployment Benefit

OnlyFans Creator Under Investigation by Financial Police in Rovigo

A content creator from the Rovigo province has been reported after earning over €270,000 on OnlyFans without declaring the income to the tax authorities and simultaneously receiving approximately €16,000 in unemployment benefit (Naspi). This is reported by Il Fatto Quotidiano - Cronaca.

According to the investigators' reconstruction, the young woman sold adult content on the platform between 2021 and 2023, accumulating income from subscriber fees without ever filing a tax return. The Financial Police identified violations relating to direct taxes and VAT, also applying the so-called "ethical tax": a surcharge introduced in 2006 that provides for a 25% increase in taxes on income for those who produce, distribute or sell pornographic material.

Thanks to the late filing of a tax return, the officers were able to recover €120,000.

The investigation also established that, whilst working on the platform and earning unreported money, the woman was simultaneously receiving Naspi, the unemployment benefit, valued at approximately €16,000. For this reason she has been reported for fraudulently claiming state benefits, an offence carrying a prison sentence of between six months and three years, together with revocation of the benefit and repayment of the sums already received.
