A man serving his sentence under house arrest has been transferred to prison after repeatedly violating the conditions imposed on him.

A man serving his sentence at his own residence has been placed behind bars. The Court of Appeal in Rome issued an order that revoked the alternative measure, at the request of the Mobile Squad of Frosinone.
The investigators had gathered concrete evidence that the individual was not complying with the rules. Specifically, last June, he left his home to participate in a violent assault against some neighbours. On that occasion, he had helped his brother to beat the victims, whilst the couple's small children witnessed the scene helplessly.
In light of this behaviour, deemed incompatible with supervised release, the police requested and obtained the change of measure. The individual was then taken to a correctional facility.
It should be noted that, at the present time, the individual is only suspected of having committed the crimes in question. The final judgment falls to the judicial authority, which will have to pronounce itself with a final and irrevocable sentence, in full compliance with the presumption of innocence.
