ANSA Cronaca reports that the two women found dead overnight at a building site in Pollena Trocchia, in the province of Naples, are believed to have been murdered by the same person on two separate days. The victims are reported to be two prostitutes.
The man detained and questioned for several hours, suspected of responsibility for the double homicide, is said to have made initial admissions. According to the theory of the carabinieri and the Nola prosecutor's office, he killed both women after engaging in sexual relations with each, after which a dispute is said to have broken out over payment for the service.
