El Koudri: prosecution does not contest terrorism aggravant
The Modena prosecutor's office has requested validation of the arrest of Salim El Koudri, without contesting the terrorism aggravant or premeditation.

No terrorism aggravant for El Koudri
The Modena prosecutor's office has requested validation of the arrest and remand in custody for Salim El Koudri, the 31-year-old who on Saturday afternoon drove his car into a crowd in the centre of Modena, injuring eight people. ANSA Cronaca reports this, citing statements made by lawyer Fabio Giannelli released outside Modena prison at the end of the validation hearing.
The prosecution did not contest the terrorism aggravant or that of racial hatred, nor premeditation. According to the lawyer, the charge of massacre was confirmed, but at the moment "he is only being charged with the most serious grievous bodily harm".
