The financial police of Pordenone have arrested a young man from Maniago who was storing large quantities of cocaine, hashish and other substances in the premises of his mother's shop.

Pordenone, Italy – In recent days, the Guardia di Finanza of the Friuli capital arrested a young man from Maniago, found in possession of substantial quantities of narcotics inside the commercial premises owned by his mother.
The man was stopped in Porcia, in the province of Pordenone. His particularly agitated behaviour led officers to carry out a search of his vehicle, where residues of cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy were found. During a subsequent personal search, the financial police found three packages containing over 15 grammes of cocaine hidden in the young man's underwear.
After consulting the duty magistrate, law enforcement carried out two further searches. At the suspect's home in Maniago, approximately two thousand euros in cash were seized. At his mother's shop in Pordenone, however, the most significant discovery emerged: inside a storage area and a false ceiling, nearly one kilogramme of cocaine was found, along with over ten kilograms of hashish, five hallucinogenic mushrooms and one hundred grammes of various types of drugs, including marijuana, heroin, ketamine, ecstasy and other synthetic substances.
In addition to the narcotics, five precision scales and material for packaging doses were found at the shop. The investigation ruled out the mother's involvement in her son's illegal activities.
The young man was arrested on charges of production, trafficking and unlawful possession of narcotic and psychotropic substances, and was subsequently transferred to Pordenone prison.
