Google News IT — Crime (it) reports that on Friday 21 August, the State Police in Bologna arrested a 42-year-old Romanian citizen subject to a custodial sentence issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Bologna.
The man was wanted for a robbery committed in 2013 in a town in Romagna and for unlawful possession of weapons. At the time of his stop, he was travelling on board the Inter City 613, on the Piacenza-Bologna route, bound for Pesaro.
His presence was noticed by a patrol of the Railway Police in Bologna on duty on the train. The officers proceeded to identify him and took him to the Operations Unit at Bologna Centrale railway station for the necessary checks.
Following verification, the 42-year-old was arrested and transferred to Bologna Prison, where he must serve a sentence of 11 months and 11 days in detention.
