Italian authorities have arrested six young people belonging to the criminal gang "Latin Kings", including a 19-year-old Dominican, for their alleged role in the killing of an Italo-Ecuadorian boy. The incident occurred on 26 May at Milan Certosa railway station, in the northern part of the city.

The precautionary custody order, issued by the Milan Prosecutor's Office and executed in the provinces of Milan and Monza, concerns a 19-year-old Dominican and five Peruvians aged between 18 and 22. Each is charged with participation, to varying degrees, in the crime.

This operation marks progress in the investigation by the Investigative Squad of the Milan Questura, which had already arrested on 5 and 9 June two individuals considered to be the instigators of the stabbing.

From the investigation, based on surveillance footage and witness statements, it emerges that the group surrounded the victim, his sister and a companion. They then assaulted them with stones, bottles and knives, sparking a chase along the railway tracks. During the escape, the boy fell and was reached by the offenders, who struck him repeatedly with cutting weapons until killing him.
