A nineteen-year-old North African was shot in both ankles by two shotgun rounds fired by men who entered with faces uncovered into an apartment in an Aler building on via Saponaro in Milan.

In the night between Saturday and Sunday, a 19-year-old boy of North African origin was struck by two shotgun bullets in both ankles. The incident took place inside a public housing unit on via Saponaro in the Lombardy capital. According to an initial reconstruction, some criminals entered the apartment with faces uncovered and opened fire against the young man.

The injured man was transported to hospital to receive necessary medical care. His condition does not give cause for concern and he is not in danger of life. Carabinieri are investigating the case, seeking to reconstruct the dynamics of the intrusion and to identify the perpetrators of the assault.
