A 55-year-old man was stabbed repeatedly from behind in the Milan suburbs. Admitted to intensive care after several operations, he is out of danger. The 22-year-old perpetrator has been arrested.

On Saturday morning, near a venue in the suburbs of Milan, a 55-year-old man was assaulted with a knife by a young man who struck him repeatedly in the back. According to footage obtained, the attacker approached the victim from behind and delivered approximately twenty stab wounds.
Patrons of the bar, after initial moments of shock, came to the aid of the wounded man as the perpetrator fled the scene. The victim, admitted in critical condition, underwent multiple operations and is now in intensive care, with his prognosis improving.
Police identified and arrested Lamin Saidilly, 22 years old, born in Italy to parents originally from Gambia. Before the investigating magistrate, he exercised his right to remain silent.
