According to reports from Google News IT — Crime (it), yesterday evening the State Police arrested a 42-year-old man, irregular on national territory, on suspicion of sexual assault in Naples. He was also reported for carrying objects designed to cause injury and for illegal entry and residence in the country.
Officers from the Decumani Police Station and the Fourth Mobile Squad of Naples were engaged in public order duties in Piazza Municipio when they noticed a young woman in an evident state of agitation. The woman pointed out a man nearby, already fleeing, telling police that shortly before he had groped her with a sudden gesture.
Officers reached him and stopped him in via Santa Brigida. During the search, the man was found in possession of a double-bladed knife of approximately 10 centimetres.
In light of what was established, the 42-year-old was arrested by the operating personnel.
