Murder in Porcia: father killed defending daughter, AirTag found in ex-partner's car
A man was killed in Porcia (Pordenone) while defending his daughter. His ex-partner had been monitored with an AirTag hidden in her car.
Murder in Porcia: AirTag and barricaded in bathroom before fatal assault
ANSA Cronaca reconstructs the moments preceding the murder of Marius Adrian, which occurred in Porcia, in the province of Pordenone, based on the order with which the investigating judge ordered pre-trial custody in prison for Fabrizio Barberini, under investigation for the facts.
At the basis of the case would be the discovery of an AirTag that Barberini allegedly hid in the car of his ex-partner, Andra Florina Dorobantu, to monitor her movements. From that confrontation, an escalation would then have followed, culminating in the murder of the woman's father.
In the most dramatic moments of the incident, Dorobantu barricaded herself in the bathroom together with her children aged 15 and 7 after calling 112. The operators had instructed her to remain locked in with the children. From behind the door, the woman reported hearing Barberini repeatedly attempt to break it down, without uttering a word. "Perhaps he wanted to finish us", the woman declared, referring to her fear that the man could reach her and her children.
According to what emerges from the order, officers from the Squadra Volante intervened minutes after the emergency call, finding Barberini still attempting to break down the door. The arrival of the police interrupted the action, allowing the woman and the two minor children to be secured.
The woman and the children remained barricaded in the bathroom until they heard the voice of a policewoman asking if there was anyone in the house. The investigating judge refers to this element in the order as one of the central passages in the evaluation of the severity of the picture reconstructed by the investigators.
