The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office has reiterated its request for a life sentence for Roberto and Mattia Toson, accused of killing 19-year-old Thomas Bricca in Alatri on 30 January 2023.

The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office has reiterated its request for a life sentence for Roberto Toson and his son Mattia, charged with the homicide of Thomas Bricca, the 19-year-old killed in Alatri, in the province of Frosinone, on 30 January 2023. ANSA News reports.
The new prosecution brief came after the Rome Court of Assizes of Appeal issued an order for technical expertise on mobile phone cells and the hearing of two witnesses—procedural matters that were added to the prosecution brief already presented last November.
Bricca was struck by gunshots in the street. According to investigators' reconstruction, it was Mattia Toson who fired the shots from a scooter driven by his father; the target, according to the investigation, was actually supposed to be a friend of the victim.
At first instance, in March of last year, the Frosinone Court of Assizes had sentenced Roberto Toson to life imprisonment and Mattia to 24 years in prison.
