Turin Murder: "Two Hours of Cardiac Massage, Then the Plan for the River"
After the death of Fabio Colapietro, the three arrested individuals reportedly attempted to resuscitate him for two hours before considering how to dispose of the body. Morando remembers nothing; Formichetti remains silent.

According to reports from Il Fatto Quotidiano – Cronaca, when the three realised that Fabio Colapietro was dead, they reportedly spent approximately two hours attempting to resuscitate him by performing cardiac massage. Only afterwards did they begin to consider how to dispose of the body.
This version was reconstructed by solicitor Wilmer Perga, defence counsel for Christian Matheus De Oliveira Morando, 26 years old, at the end of the validation hearing held at the Lorusso-Cutugno prison in Turin. The three are arrested for the murder of 39-year-old Colapietro, found dismembered in a flat on Via Gulli.
"He is confused, but he has admitted it, however he remembers absolutely nothing," Perga stated. Morando would not recall either whether he was the one who killed Colapietro, or whether he contributed to dismembering his body. "He said he remembers absolutely nothing" as to whether it was him or not, the defence counsel added, but specifying that "he did not do it alone."
The 26-year-old reportedly retained memory of some moments following the death. "He doesn't remember well how, but they went out, bought the sheets, the cement, they intended then to throw the pieces in a river," Perga further reported.
The procedural position of Nicole Formichetti, 46 years old, arrested alongside Morando and Keith Butig, was different. During the validation interrogation, the woman did not answer any questions. "Not through any unwillingness, but because she was not in a position to do so," explained solicitor Alessandro Bellina, who is assisting her together with colleague Chiara Romano.
"A first time in prison is shocking, so this alone has an impact," Bellina added, indicating that Formichetti would also be assessed by prison staff regarding her condition. Solicitor Romano clarified that the defence would evaluate with the Prosecutor's Office the possibility of a further interrogation "when she is in a position to do so."
