Four people reported for receiving stolen goods in Cassino

Four individuals have been reported in a state of liberty by the State Police for the offence of receiving stolen goods in concert. The incident occurred in Cassino, in the province of Frosinone.

Officers from the local Police Commissioner's Office intervened at a commercial establishment specialising in the sale and repair of bicycles and similar vehicles, after receiving a report on the emergency line NUE 112. A young man had recognised his own scooter, stolen a few days earlier, displayed in the shop.

The victim of the theft explained to police that the vehicle was equipped with a geolocalisation system and an acoustic alarm, elements that made it possible to confirm its ownership. The staff present at the commercial activity were unable to produce any documentation relating to the origin of the goods or the goods receipt and issue register.

For this reason, the officers proceeded to report four people: three foreign nationals and an Italian. Those under investigation are currently only suspected of the offence and their position will be determined by the judge. The constitutional principle of presumption of innocence until final judgment is recalled.
