Drug dealing network in Belluno province: eight people under investigation, drugs hidden in animal's bedding
An investigation by the magistracy is underway in Belluno province into an organisation engaged in the trade of prohibited substances. Investigators have registered eight individuals in the suspects register.
The group is believed to have moved substantial sums, amounting to several hundreds of thousands of euros, through the sale of narcotics in the area. To evade controls, those responsible allegedly used an unusual hiding place: the bedding of a domestic animal.
Supplies came from Vittorio Veneto, a centre in the Treviso area, where the group sourced the material to distribute. The target market was made up predominantly of young people who frequented the nightlife venues in the zone.
Investigative activity made it possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the illegal operation, from supply sources to sales points.
