According to rainews.it, the Rimini Police seized over 25 kilograms of cocaine, valued at approximately ten million euros. Two Albanian citizens, aged 46 and 34, were arrested by the Mobile Squad following investigations that lasted weeks.

Officers stopped a Citroën C3 at Morciano di Romagna, in the Rimini area, while the two were loading a large holdall. Inside the vehicle, 20 packets of cocaine were found, totalling over 22 kilograms. The search continued at the 34-year-old's home in Cesena, where the Police discovered a further 2.7 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a false bottom made inside a television cabinet.

During the house search, officers also seized €29,500 in cash and packaging materials. The two men were taken to Rimini Prison and charged with joint possession of controlled substances for the purpose of distribution.
