A 22-year-old was struck in the head by a grazing bullet fired during a violent brawl that occurred after 3 am in the entertainment district area between via Isidoro La Lumia and via Quintino Sella, in Palermo. According to ANSA Cronaca.
The young woman was taken to Villa Sofia hospital, where she is under medical observation. Her condition is not a cause for concern: she is not in danger of life.
Numerous patrols of carabinieri and police responded to the scene. The area was cordoned off. Military personnel from the Piazza Verdi company and the investigative unit of the provincial command are conducting investigations and collecting witness statements to reconstruct the sequence of events.
Investigators have obtained images from surveillance cameras in the area, which may have captured the incident.
