The State Police have executed a precautionary measure removing a man from his family home with a prohibition on approaching his wife. The man, a resident of Sora, is under investigation for domestic abuse.

In central Lazio, officers from the Sora Police Commission notified a local resident of an order removing him from the shared residence. The measure, issued by the judge for preliminary investigations at the Cassino Court, also imposes a ban on approaching his wife within a minimum radius of one kilometre.
Everything began when the woman decided to file a complaint. At that point, an investigative operation was launched by the police commission officers, which led to the collection of significant evidence. According to what emerged, the husband allegedly repeatedly adopted intimidating, offensive and threatening behaviour, creating a climate of psychological terror within the family home. The woman found herself in a state of constant anxiety and submission.
The magistrate, finding the investigative findings to be well-founded, signed the removal order to prevent any recurrence and ensure the safety of his wife.
The suspect was located in Abruzzo, in a town in Teramo province, where officers from the Teramo Mobile Unit physically carried out the measure.
The intervention is part of the broader programme for the prevention and suppression of domestic and family violence coordinated by the Frosinone Police Headquarters.
It should be noted that the man is currently only suspected of the crime: his responsibility must be established through the regular course of the trial, in compliance with the principle of presumption of innocence enshrined in the Constitution.
